Two think tanks in Beijing on March 24 launched the WiseDemo Campaign, aiming to pool the wisdom of global young experts for innovative solutions to global challenges.

As part of the Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD) program jointly initiated by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS), the campaign invites global participants to submit proposals on topics such as the building of a community with a shared future, inclusive development, technology and innovation, environmental protection, culture, and education.

The top 10 innovative proposals will be selected and then presented at the annual forum of the GYLD to be held in June. Authors of the proposals that are not selected will also be given priority to participate in other activities of the GYLD program.

In 2021, the GYLD program will launcha series of other activities including the GYLD China Tour, the annual forum of the GYLD, the Global Young Leaders Professional Development Program, and the Global Young Leaders Workshops. These activities will help to build a new platform for young people around the world to exchange opinions and strengthen mutual understanding and friendship.

According to the organizers, the proposal should be innovative, feasible, and at the conception stage or the early implementation stage.

Participants are required to complete their proposals in English in the attached application form and send it to gyld@ccg.org.cn no later than May 14.
