Gather in Charming Beijing, Start the Cultural Tour

On the morning of July 5, the 2019 Beijing International Youth Tourism Festival, hosted by Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, opened in the city’s Dongcheng District. Shi Anping, inspector of Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, and Li Xuemin, director of Dongcheng District Culture and Tourism Administration, attended the opening ceremony, alongside more than 100 other participants including public figures from cultural and tourism circles, internet celebrities, young students from home and abroad, foreigners working in Beijing, and journalists.

Themed “Charming Beijing, Cultural Tour,” the 2019 Beijing International Youth Tourism Festival launched three themed activities targeting at Chinese and foreign youth groups, namely “Scholarly Beijing,” “Tour of Scenic Beijing,” and “Feeling Beijing.” The event focuses on promoting integrated development of culture and tourism. Relying on Beijing’s abundant cultural resources, the event aims to build more attractive tourism routes centered on culture.

The 2019 Beijing International Youth Tourism Festival will last for three months, displaying the city’s rich cultural heritage, artistic atmosphere and charming cultural tourism.
