Since ancient times, he said, people of the two countries have formed close bonds, lived in harmony and shared a “Paukphaw” (fraternal) friendship. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Myanmar. Over the past 70 years, the two countries have supported and cooperated closely with each other, and jointly advocated the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, which has been widely praised by the international community. To mark President Xi Jinping’s upcoming state visit to Myanmar, we are holding the “China-Myanmar Paukphaw Friendship” photo exhibition. The exhibition features photos showcasing the beautiful natural scenery, social life and traditional friendship of China and Myanmar, as well as the wisdom and diligence of the two peoples to jointly create a better future and write a new chapter for China-Myanmar “Paukphaw” friendship.
