China’s Experience Inspires Foreign Officials, Scholars

November 7, 2017: Chinese Academy of Governance hosts a workshop for foreign trainees about the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

The recent 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) inspired the world with the Chinese experience, according to foreign civil servants and scholars studying China’s system of governance at the Chinese Academy of Governance in Beijing.

The academy hosted a workshop about the congress on November 7, wherein Yang Keqin, vice president of the academy, summarized China’s achievements over the past five years and outlined the vision for the future devised during the congress. Three academicians spoke on governance of the CPC, a community of shared future for mankind, and the central experiences of China’s economic development.

Five representatives of the 192 civil servants and scholars from 35 countries attending the workshop shared their thoughts on the CPC’s leadership and China’s state governance.
