Many people have been attracted by the dazzling large screens on the site of Olympic Games, NBA matches, Boao Forum for Asia, or other important events and meetings, but few people know the technology behind them.
On January 17, 2024, the tour of Diplomats Explore China reached Nanhai District of Foshan City, Guangdong Province. Diplomats from nearly 40 countries walked into Foshan Nationstar Optoelectronics to explore the industrial power behind the LED screens. Guided by CICG, the event was co-organized by Beijing Service Bureau for Diplomatic Missions, International Communication Cooperation Department under the China Center for International Economic Exchanges, CICG Center for Europe and Asia, and Xinhua Institute.
Located in Foshan City, Nationstar Optoelectronics production base is a source of global LED large screens. Thousands of LED lamp beads were produced here and eventually assembled into LED screens, which were widely used in various large-scale events and important conferences at home and abroad.
During the visit, the diplomats not only learned the development path, technological innovation and application scenarios of the LED technology, but also experienced the convenience brought by smart wearable devices and other LED applications.
