On March 4, a month since Huoshenshan Hospital began to receive COVID-19 patients,

China Pictorial reporters paid another visit to the “red zone” for treating diagnosed patients at this incredible hospital.

Through 5G remote consultation,

the patients’ conditions can be monitored at any time,

which helps doctors pool their expertise.

Using 5G technology, doctors from the Air Force Medical University and Huoshenshan Hospital carry out remote consultation for an 86-year-old severe coronavirus patient in Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi Province.

A “family ward” nursing mode

is applied at the hospital.

It runs through the whole process from the patients’ admission to discharge.

After precise treatment by medical staffers, patients’ conditions have improved. The “family ward” nursing mode includes arranging couples in the same ward and implementing nursing from four aspects: tender care, precise nursing, diversified health education and customized nursing.

After the days and nights spent together,

patients and medical staffers have become friends.
