Strategic Cooperation Agreement between China International Communications Group and Kabar National News Agency Signed
Under the witness of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov before the opening of China-Central Asia Summit (CCAS), the Chinese minister of culture and tourism Hu Heping and the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev, signed a strategic cooperation agreement between China International Communications Group (CICG) and Kyrgyzstan's Kabar National News Agency, in Xi’an, northwest China’s Shaanxi Province, May 18, 2023.
China International Communications Group (CICG) has maintained a good cooperative relationship with Kabar National News Agency for years. To further deepen exchange of mainstream media and consolidate friendship of the peoples of the two countries, the two sides agreed to carry out a series of cooperation between their media subsidiaries in the realms of joint interview, people exchange and event holding, etc.
Kabar National News agency, along with CICG Center for Europe and Asia, a subsidiary of CICG, will put all these cooperative projects into practice.
Founded in 1937, Kabar National News Agency is headquartered in Bishkek and is the oldest news agency in the country.
CICG Center for Europe and Asia is a media organization with a 73-year history, focusing on cultural exchange between China and countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and South Asia.
